TOKYO - It may only have lasted one full day but U.S Secretary of State Hillary R. Clinton packed a great deal into the 40 hours that she spent in Japan. And like a true professional Clinton managed to convince the Japanese that this country remains the most important strategic ally that the United States has in East Asia.Critics - some might suggest that "realists"" is the correct term - say that after similarly brief visits to Indonesia and South Korea she arrived in China at the weekend for the real business of her first overseas trip since being sworn in . . .
