King Jigme Singye Wangchuck has not only moved his Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan to democracy but has also wisely opened his kingdom to a free press. The eight-page Bhutan Today has been out for two months now - and is looking for advertisers. (The population is 700 000 with an estimated literate readership of 12 000 but an optimistic print run of 18 000 copies according to Reuters.
