Getting fresh New grocery chain for Guam

Island Fresh IGA grocery store is scheduled to open in March 2009 on Route 4 in Chalan Pago in the building formerly occupied by Hita Supermarket. The new store is owned by The North West Co. International Inc. the Alaska-based company that also owns Cost-U-Less. North West is partnering with Independent Grocers Alliance on the project and will mark the entry into the Guam market of the "largest branded group of independent grocers in the world "" according to Larry Bourland retail business consultant for marketing for Supervalu . . .
