Supreme Court orders new special election day Proposal A inclusion

HAGÅTÑA Guam "" The Supreme Court has issued a Peremptory Writ of Mandate to the Guam Election Commission its Director Gerald Taitano and its Board members requiring them to place Proposal A on the upcoming special election ballot and to hold the election on Jan. 5 rather than Dec.15 according to a press release dated Nov. 16. The election was originally scheduled for Dec. 15 in order to fill the vacant seat in the legislature following the death of Sen. Antonio Unpingco however proponents of Proposal A appealed for the inclusion of the initiative . . .
