Green Lightning strikes in AustraliaThe week of March 26 saw Anderson Air Force Base B-52s making a trip to Australia for Green Lightning a series of exercises held at the Delamere Bombing Range in Delamere Northern Territory Australia between U.S. and Australian troops. The B-52s completed a refueling exercise and then proceeded to the bombing range to employ six BDU-50 inert bombs. Next the aircraft made an appearance - a flyby performance - at the Australian International Airshow 2007 in Victoria Australia. The bombers also made a stop at the Royal Australia Air Force Base in Darwin . . .
